If this is where they are going to build their protypes and do R&D than it may make sense - with a market cap of 50M it's probably peanuts for a big partner to purchase although POET does not have the money obviously. If this were the case though than obviously POET would be giving up alot of control to this partner who I assume we would find out who they are.

Alot of specualtion here but if somone is backing POET on this - thats a huge endorsement for POET - could definetly see SP movement if theres that kind of confidence behind POET

That being said I highly doubt POET is involved in the purchase. All in IMO backed by my many years of semiconductor industry expertise lol
