A startup from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, headquarter in Malaysia.
It seems their BoD is playing in a lower class, but on the other hand it also seems they have a workable one chip optical GaAs-transceiver prototype + revenues from existing products.

Good to know, and I am sure the people from POET know about it.
