Bliss,
While I respect your freedom to express your disagreement with Rainer concerning IR, I am glad I do not do any business with you. If you believe ignoring those that have a vested interest in your company is just fine, I would surely take my business elsewhere.
I am sorry, but ignoring emails from long-time investors is not aceptable. Yet, this seems to be the approach of our new IR firm. If my character was different, I'd take the IR job and ignore reasonable inquiries, questions and concerns, and get paid. And please don't tell me to pick up the phone and call them. Not happening. They need to respond to a simple email. That is their responsibility. If they shirk it, they should be fired.
As well, please realize Rainer's comments were directed at IR. There was no complaining about Poet's exec team and nothing to do with letting the experts within Poet execute.
I'm with you Rainer and wish this IR firm would get it acts together and deal professionally with those that are vested. Wish Chris were still with us!
Rainer: I must say I am disappointed with Robert Ferri. I sent him an e-mail recently asking for a comment on the II-VI acquisitions. Not that I really expected an answer, but at least he should have told me that he can't/won't respond
Bliss: Sorry, don't agree.
They are the experts.
Let them build the company.
Until there is a REAL reason to complain, lets not go looking for one.
