the Bronfmans were bootleggers that made their money in my home province running booze across the border to the US.. There are lots of stories about souped cars going like a bat out of H*ll at night outrunning the cops heading South from Gainsborough.. They were probably alittle more pleasant than Al Capone but it was still probably not a good idea to get in their way..There are lots of stories about Al Capone catching the train on the Soo Line that began in Chicago and ended in Moose Jaw when things got a little too hot in Chicago..History is very interesting..
