FJ, deferring 100% to your fantastic grasp of the tech, it seems to me that with tech knowledge and expertise expanding greatly each and every month, let alone year, that there will likely be several competitors for whatever it is that POET will have to offer. I hope that what POET demonstrates can work and be mass produced at a reasonable price makes us just one of several players whose tech is accepted and captures a sliver of the huge market. Good enough tech to make it on our own or to be bought out at multiples of our current, presumedly extremely modest and downright misleading price.

Down south, where we're in the grip of primary season and polls and predictions are everywhere, here's what I wonder about: will this board remain level-headed and over-all congenial from now till Feb 16, or will the impatience (or disingenouity) that is human nature rear its head significantly one or more times between now and then?

After Feb 16, of course, all bets are off, cuz, and paraphrasing old-time political talk, "you can't please all of the people all of the time."
