Just got info from the conference office that Suresh had to pull out of the conference due to "unforeseen circumstances", which means he cannot travel at the time of the conference. Suresh also could not provide an alternative speaker.

No surprise the conference office doesn't know any reasons or details, but at least I've tried and asked.
