You're so right crzyhors
SV has been scheduled to speak at the CS conference for quite some time, during which we have seen PTI move forward significantly. This judgement is based on the proof points that have emerged recently in terms of engaging Anadigics (for prototype production), EpiWorks (for epitaxial supplies) and Wavetek (for mass manufacture) and that is not to speak of the technical advances evidenced by advances in the POET patent application process.
Whist it is disappointing that SV will not speak at the conference, I do not see this as a negative indication of PTI progress . Far from it given the significant potential generated by the facts outlined above.
The juggler that SV should go for, and our best interest as shareholders, is not observing our CEO speaking at a public conference when there will be many other opportunities to do so, but his focus on maintaining the momentum of PTI's progress to producing a revenue generating product that will stun the industry with its technical and economic advantages.
We have growing awareness that PTI is not alone in a technical race which has no finishing line. To be a significant player in this industry from such an inauspicious begining demands impact of the shock and awe variety. Secrecy, timing and divertionary tactics are key elements in achieving this.
Don't let this boards hunger for knowledge cloud the aims set by the PTI operational plan to commercialise POET. I am sure that the 16th of February CC will allow SV sufficient opportunity to satify our concerns and we should be satisfied with this in the grand scheme of things and not hound IR for infomation which could divert our CEO's attention..
As I have said befor, the promotion and maintenance of the AIM is a key factor for success in Military Operations as much as it is in a Company's Operational Plan.
