You know, back in 1999, when I was watching the tech bubble 100% from the sidelines, I distinctly remember articles from Wired magazine being enough to encourage musicians (the people I was socializing with at the time) to speculate on tech stocks. (I know, laughable, but only in hindsight.) If there was an article in Wired, any stock, any story, could get launched into the nasdaq maelstrom.

One of the things I have been waiting for this time around, now participating 100%, is for Wired magazine to pick up the POET story and launch the next leg of the stock's trajectory. Obviously the business, the CC, the partnerships are THE thing, but at some point the promotion of the idea to the tech friendly US centric investing laity will begin.

Reading the above article on Google gives you an idea of how good the POET story could read. I mean, someday I am going to overhear two techies going ballistic over this, and I will just smile to myself and offer to buy them another round.

Sting tells the story of how he first realized that The Police had "made" it. He's waking up in his hotel room, and he hears the window washer outside singing Roxanne to himself.

Nice volume yesterday.

Cheers
