In Germany you need to consider always the Marketplace - you are referring to Frankfurt.
As Frankfurt is always closing to regular bourse times in Germany they always need to catch up to the CAN close.
Tradegate for example has extended trading hours were we can trade till 22:00 German time which is exactly when CAN closes.
Therefore Tradegate normaly is pari with the CAN closing SP but Frankfurt is not.
Frankfurt now is up by 3,2% but is only on 1,07 CAD actually and therefore lower than the CAN close of 1,10.
Tradegate (also Lang & Schwarz) allows us to trade 8:00 AM till 22:00 PM
Frankfurt (Berlin, München, Stuttgart, Düsseldorf) only from 9:00 AM till 17:00 PM
I hope this clarifies a bit the different trading in Germany. With POET Tradegate is the most liquid Marketplace here in Germany.
