@Baba,
I don't watch the movement of the stock in a way that would enable me to notice manipulation. So I can't weigh in on that part of the discussion.
But I agree with you about the apathy. I think whoever is in, is in and holding pretty strong. Those on the sidelines have no reason to enter until such time as a catalyst emerges. They may have their finger poised over the buy button, but the need a reason to press it.
Taking our leader at face value, I think this portion of the CC says it all:
"30:40 – Answer: Of course the biggest challenge for POET at this point in it’s evolution is demonstrating the technology capabilities and mitigating technology risks"
Clearly this is a hurdle both on our side as investors, and on their side in order to demonstrate our capabilities to would-be partners.
I think the potential for a huge uptick is possible when the technology is demonstrated with a prototype. I feel this way because I think partnerships will be revealed the moment POET performs to everyone's satisfaction. It's possible we may even hear about partnerships *BEFORE* we learn about the completion of the prototypes. In that case, we would learn of the completed prototypes by way of a partnership announcement.
If this scenario comes to pass, POET may become available to a broader investment community that was first stimulated by the "roadshow" from a few months ago.
POET is still relatively unknown outside Canada if Google Trends is any kind of indication:

Hopefully this will change in Q2.
