Automotive Computing Power Requirements - and the heat generated

Link (below hopefully) is to an article from Automotive Design&Production about a NVIDIA package for autonomous cars. First, the computing power (claims 150x Macbook processing power) required is intense, but what's also interesting is the massive heat sink and heat transfer assembly to keep the sealed box cool enough. A full-blooded POET processor would solve a few issues: smaller footprint, less heat generated and faster processors.
