A news release from January 2016 discusses IME's intention to develop bio implant electronics to block pain.
Here is a quote from the NR:
"The technology behind this device is a microchip that enables highly-efficient wireless data transmission and ultra-low power signal acquisition." The device is supposedly able to be as small as a grain of rice.
I find it even more interesting given the announcement that Poet is now working on GaN chips too, which appears to be a good medium for bio-electronic integration. Thoughts?
