I (we) are beginning to think that the numerous erroneous news releases are seemingly done on purpose .......

Optimistically, IMO, I think this a a definite possibility. Think about it. If I am a potential partner/customer involved with Poet under an NDA, you can bet your life I will do whatever I can to minimize the attention brought to Poet. The 'market' that is paying attention to Poet these days is very small, limited. We are averaging 250K shares traded per day....... News Releases are only provided by Poet which limits the exposure.......Wavetek, Epiworks and A*Star haven't told the world they are invloved with Poet......Stealth Mode is very much in play until a deal is reached/product is ready.
