An unparalleled post, Rainer, thanks so much for arranging that teleconference and sharing what you learned with us.
So, going back to the start of the recent POET release, "As previously announced, POET intends to commercialize its integrated resonant cavity detector as its first product and demonstrate this prototype by the end of 2016," it seems to me the reason that the share price does not react is the timing, with a demonstration of the prototype of that first product slated "by the end of 2016."
So, Poet thinks the integrated resonant cavity detector will beat the VSCEL to market, which dovetails with the VSCEL comment needing further refinement to achieve uncommon status.
Is the above a fair statement? Or, possibly, is the super VSCEL to be developed a component part of the "integrated resonant cavity detector," which would indicate both need to be ready by end of the year. Sorry, but the above is well beyond my understanding, and I know it's like reading the morning paper for many of you.
