Not to mention, I have designed seven strong logo concepts around the name "POET Technologies" - and I have communicated with Mr. Ferri my desire to present them, so I would also prefer keeping the acronym they have if possible.

He did respond to me (twice), ultimately saying he had raised this issue with them and expected to get clarity soon on this and would get back to me to discuss further.
