Message: The name should stay POET Technologies or close to that

Whether the trademark "powered by POET" is allowed to fall by the wayside, the fact remains that there's no reason our company cannot stick with its current name. Lots of company names are formed from acronyms; ours has the added benefit of the fact that the acronym is itself another word entirely, and one from which nice allusions emanate.

They already operate under this name, so why would there suddenly be a problem with it? Does anyone honestly think "Alphabet" is a superior name to "Google"?

About the only complaint I can honestly have is that the "T" in "POET" is redundant since it already stands for "Technologies".

So...

POET

or...

P/O/E Technologies

or...(one more that does introduce an important descriptive word)

P/O/E Monolithics
