mack, although it seems much too early for a buy out, and I think many of us believe a buyout would not yield a satisfactory result, what about a 100% buyout for X dollars per share up front, with additional dollars to be paid as the tech performs and generates revenue. Now, I know the upfront X dollars will not be satisfactory to most, and most will figure we'll get screwed on the back end somehow, but i have seen transactions like this actually work.

Heck, depending on what X was, I wouldn't mind having some sort of preferred stock of the acquiring company pay a dividend (work it like a royalty) as the tech is incorporated in various devices or otherwsie licensed or used.

Not likely, but not imposssible either; and one thing is sure in my mind, a straight buyout would not please well over half the people here, unless the price were something I don't think it can be at this point.
