The transfer will happen at the next business/trading day's price. You will be crystallizing gains, if any, and the tax laws are pretty strict on this. It's known as a deemed disposition. The closing price of that day will be the price applied to your transfer.
You will get a T5008 at the end of the year and your year end statement should reflect your average cost. You can also ask your broker for a realized gain/loss summary. This will reflect your actual capital gains / losses and the price considered on the day.
