Yes this is a real bid, but is also meaningless and will change once the news is released and the market opens. Hopefully the change for the bid will be up, but we have to wait to see what happens.

As for valuations in investment accounts, the valuation is typically based on the closing bid, not the closing price, so that is why the accounts are up.
