I didn't say a buyout was about to happen - was just showing the flaws in applying a typical buyout valuation to POET.
That being said I don't think we need all those steps to see a buyout - in fact I don't think we can get to all those steps before we get a buyout. If we have something truly disruptive - which is going to solve alot of problems for some big players and show it can be produced in a large foundry at a reasonable price point - thats all they need to see - especially since everyone will want to be the first ones to control it.
I don't think the industry is going to quietly sit on hte sidelines and allo our team to slowly roll this out- once they see it they will want it - and everyone has their price - not just the price we will accept but he price to fend off possible competitor bids - although a bidding war would be best case scenario.
