Lets get back to the announcement.

Lets get back to the main theme of the hour the DenseLight announcement. We should by now accept the fact that SV's communication style signals what is ahead. Another fact is that there are some things that cannot be even hinted at. First let's look at two statements from the two CEO's in the POET/DenseLight deal.

“We at DenseLight are delighted to be an integral part of the POET family and to play a strategic role in the Company’s growth plans in the rapidly developing III-V integrated opto-electronics market and particularly the exciting application demands for the Internet of Things (IOT).
There was earlier, I'm not going to dig the statement out, an indication that there was a certain amount of clamour from customers knocking on POET's door. I think this is what the new deal is all about; facilitating the needs of customers particularly in the development of the Internet of Things (IOT), this is backed up by the above statements. And we have to commend our CEO for such proactive actions which no doubt were part of the expression of greater benefit to share holders that prevent him attending the Brussels conference.
To undertake such a purchase as a Venture Capital company we would expect management to have made very careful consideration about the economics of doing so and in my judgement the move would not have been even possible given the burn rate now established by the purchase and the cash in hand needed to develop POET. There is a missing factor that we have not been told about or for that matter hinted at, apart from the buzz we hear from intelligence sources that Agora rules prevent mentioning. The missing ling is that there is another source of income that must be secure to undertake this purchase but has not yet been announced. A squarefaced person place or thing provides with a stab at that source in Facebook and the presence of Tony Blevins as an alternative. One or both of these possibilities must be a dead cert for SV to allow himself to spend so liberally, he would be castigated for risking the main focus of this company otherwise.
Dear friends my opinion is that we ain't heard nothing yet and in honour of the death of the bard 400 years ago quoth I.
SPRING
From you have I been absent in the spring,
When proud pied April, dressed in all his trim,
Hath put a spirit of youth in every thing.
