...it also is not absolutely necessary to have a halt if releasing news inside market hours. So this idea that a news release comes on Tuesday morning does not mean there need be a halt Tuesday for the duration of the THM or for any other length of time. Nor is a Tuesday morning release out of the question because they are only taking questions until Monday.

Analyst days are frequently times when companies release important new infomration, but not always. Sometimes they are just about clarifying the air around strategy and expectations.

Do not expect a lot of sell-side analysts to be in attendance either. That is in no way to infer that there won't be any - just that there may be, or there may not be.
