Message: DAC versus AOC return on investment

The crucial point is POET's following statement on http://www.poet-technologies.com/poet-platform.html#power:

"Each watt of heat that does not have to be rejected from the rack could be worth about $10 per month in operating costs for a data center."

This is indeed far off! 1 watt (W) = 0.001 kW means 0.001 kWh per hour :-) or 0.024 kWh per day or 0.7305 kWh per month. Multiplying that with 0.1458 $/kWh (commercial electricity price in California in May 2016) means saved electricity costs of just $0.1065069 per watt and month.

Doubling that because of cooling costs means that for "each watt of heat that does not have to be rejected from the rack" you can save about $0.22 per month in electricity costs.

This is off by two orders of magnitude from POET's $10 per watt saved. This needs an explanation!
