Message: Denselight and blood glucose

Jerry told me they had issues with the blood glucose detector (BGD) when the FDA asked for results from a test where the individual to be tested was coated with.....coal dust. Apparently the current detector had some diffculty with that, as you can well imagine.

As ridiculous as that sounds, the FDA has been known to throw all sorts opf roadblocks up to new entrants, and allow all sorts of transgressions from established players. I suspect Denselight (and now POET) will meet those same roadblocks in their quest to become a player. The BGD is a HUGE market, worth many billions with all the fat people walking around now, so it will be interesting to see if POET pursues it themselves or licences it off.

He did not indicate that they were setting the project aside, although it was unclear how much effort was being put into it currently.
