If Poet tech is what it looks like that it is, military would have it for at least 5 yrs now.

Would not they (big gun lovers) have full blown POET already. But they would logicaly keep such advancment top secret!?

After all did not they (SBIR) fund Poet development from the start with the idea to comercialize tech afterwards.

We (regular Joes) will never know what military has in their gun box currently.

IMO military is main reason why this is taking so long.

This tech can be powerful weapon and puting it out in the world where most things can be reverse engeneered might be too risky to some gun lovers at these uncertain times.
