Well! so there are now two non IC companies pivoting their strategy towards POET products involving a former Director (Sam Peralta). One has to wonder what Peter Coppetti has planned, and indeed there may be other former directors/emplyess with plans. This is of course a ringing endorcement for POET and in future perhaps a source of PTK royalties. Surely a sign that POET's future is bright.

What is more significant is the due diligence that will have been done by the two firms at the heart of the recent acuisitions. Both Denselight and BB will have applied very significant brain power, just read the qualifications of their scientists alone, to consider the cost benefits of the intellectual property of POET has for the respective companies involved. Their investigations will have gone further than the just science to consider the financial and structural benefits for their companies of the acquisition offer.

All great news but, this board has become so myopicaly focussed on the short term flutuations of SP and the effects of options that one wonders whether opportunities for the fantastic value of the DD and reseach that this board has become known for, are now largely lost. Instead we appear to be decending towards the mean minded, winging world of the other board.

There is clear evidence of infiltration here including rating attacks on those who contribute the most value. From which a number of other reasonable poster here also have suffered. Surely, repeating the same old gripes regarding options and castigating managment as incompetent or money grabbing is simply a device to denegrate the value of the PTK offer. Whether for intentional puposes or not, repetition of the 'same old same old' is counter to Agoracom rules and such posts should be reported as such or deleted by Board Leaders. They add nothing to the real DD value that this board was set up to achieve.

This negativity is driving rational minds away from the fag of wading through thick mud to find the few remaining islands of wisdom in the fog of divertionary thinking.
