Your memory is not failing you sulasailor. This excerpt is from the September 30, 2015 conference call.

"12:48 – And as far as the lab-to-fab transition goes, we are on plan to complete this activity by the end of this year. In place are signed MoUs with two epitaxial wafer vendors who are among the world’s premier providers of epitaxial wafers. We expect to start receiving six-inch epitaxial wafers from these vendors starting October. The initial results are in and we expect to be able to complete the first phase of the transfer over the next month. The transfer is also underway of our proprietary VCSEL fabrication process to our commercial foundry partner, with first VCSEL and transistor results expected in Q1 2016 and integrated VCSEL and detector components in the second quarter of 2016."

And this excerpt from the January 27, 2016 news release suggests that there may be a silent wafer supplier waiting in the wings, yet to be announced.

"POET reported that it is encouraged by the promising initial results of its wafers sourced from its epitaxial wafer partners processed in the Wavetek facility using POET's proprietary technology, which has recently been transferred under a Nondisclosure Agreement between POET and Wavetek. The Agreement addresses all current manufacturing requirements (including Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Lasers (VCSELs)) in POET's ongoing commercialization initiative. A previously announced subsisting manufacturing services agreement was limited to prototype demonstration of VCSELs."

A lot can change in over 8 months since the Sept 30, 2015 cc and over 5 months since that nr and the wording is far from conclusive in the nr, so, like Rainer said, the only thing we know for sure is, "aside from Epiworks, no epitaxial supplier has been announced."
