    Pros

    • The company has gone through very difficult times both financially and operationally but there is opportunity to recover now.
    • There are unique technologies to be learnt (epitaxy, wafer fab, laser optics ...).
    • Opportunity to learn and involve in system build up, understanding of overall production flow.

    Cons

    • Multiple roles assigned due to manpower shortage.
    • Lack of established and clear system of doing things.
    • Employee benefit policy is lower compared to MNCs.
    • Progress can be inhibited by financial difficulties.

    Advice to Management

Think about how to motivate employees.
There is a lot more improvement needed in human resource policies to retain and attract talents.
Keep your word on promises made.

I worked at DenseLight Semiconductors full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Challenging working environment, good for politicians to prepare their future career
Great opportunities to improve anger management skills, ability to work under pressure, and multitasking skills. Basically one man does four men's job with half man's pay
Various OJT program provided for employees to get more and more hands-on experience about equipment moving, handling, operating, moving, handling, operating etc.
Excellent employee benefits so that stuff don't dare get sick
Great career advancement opportunities as for most of the time, the person can get promoted as long as he/she stays there long enough even without doing any thing. Probably the best aged home (good place to play Tai Chi) in town.
Fast increment rate, can be as high as 100%! like the bonus can increase from 10 bucks to 20
Good work-life balance as there is no "life" at all, so don't need to worry about "balance" at all.

    Cons

Too generous to vendors. Occasionally, they even pay for the vendors' services!

    Advice to Management

Honestly, Probably think about how to do addition/subtraction before trying to do Calculus.
