From the TMH: "We’ve got to build the detector, we’ve got to build the VCSEL, and then we’ve got to build the transistors. Once they’re all built then you can put any system together in terms of the design, so it’s kind of a stepwise process ensuring everything is manufacturable."
The detector is complete; we have seen the 20x better results. Now the VSCEL and they were making the last round of wafers for this the week of the TMH. I still don’t follow the complete process, is the Wafer the VCSEL or just another step in making the VSCEL?
I haven’t heard much on building the transistors, anyone know if this is a difficult process?
