Message: Intel’s Laser Chips Could Make Data Centers Run Better

QuantumX: Currentyly we are in mystery mode.....we don't know what/when or may/may not happen. Sure, one can make all sorts of *assumptions/predictions* some even make projections, but until we read it in B&W (black and white OR whatever your font colour is) nothing, nothing can be taken for granted...

Oh, we can make sufficiently justified assumptions/predictions, for example regarding the integrated VCSEL transceiver product and the detector product being ready by the end of this year.

Sure, we cannot be 100 % certain to meet the target date – not even POET can, but the bets are much, much better than 50:50. We do know for sure that the technology works – unless you will believe only if you hold a POET chip in your own hands and do the characterizations yourself –, so the questions is only when, not if.

I think thi:

s is very much different from "mystery mode"!

Rainer:

With all due respect Rainer, it is these "assumptions/predictions" that have been the causation of unverified and unfulfilled expectations that has wrapped this forum with a tough pastry unworthy of an fruit tart, or over-salted broth for alphabet soup, or .....

Until we hold in our collective hands or, we see a document verifying a deal, partnership or any sort of financial gains and/or commitment with an outside party (not a party like we used to on a friday either) which will cause the sp to move upwards everything is an assumption and we remain in a mystery mode.

When and only when we hear and see a verifiable progression of

Poet Technology is the day we are no longer in "mystery mode".

Until that day, we have to live with assumptions and we saw how well that worked for us dont we.

IMHO and all due respect.

cheers,(Tschüss )
