Attention, II-VI (2-6), not II-IV, this would not work as a semiconductor :-)

But let us also think about the following theory:

Possibly POET made the first bid - followed by persistand bids from this solvent "Asia" company - so POET could not win.

Then II-VI entered the scene, with more money, but also the help of "US - officials" to keep this technology inside the US?
