Interesting WSJ article Robert Ferri pointed out on LinkedIn:
Private Equity Has a Crush on Tech
Makes me aware again that while investors discovered the tech sector, they are mainly "comfortable with corners of tech that they see as relatively stable, such as corporate-software providers that generate steady revenue through long-term subscriptions."
Other corners of tech, like promising startups with disruptive technologies, still remain, well, in their corners until they can prove their promises and demonstrate their ability to generate revenue, preferrably in the form of a steady, long-term stream.
So that's where we are now, and only revenue can change that.
