It doesn't really matter what the VCSEL performance is.. VCSELs are a dime a dozen. There's probably 20 companies out there making VCSELs..

Sure the VCSEL performance will be a slight selling point by itself, just like the detector. But these products are incredibly cheap with low margin.. we might be able to sell our detector for an additional 15% markup(example, not real life*), and the same for the VCSEL, but in the end that's not what management wants to do, and that's not what's going to make us rich by any stretch..

All we should care about as investors is the Integrated VCSEL, nothing else matters. We have the VCSELs and the Detectors now, that's good, it's a fail safe at this point, the company is less insolvent, that's good, but it's nothing revolutionary, I don't care how well the VCSEL performs. It's the Integrated VCSEL that's the "Holy Grail", that's all that matters, it's how they all perform together.
