When will the private message facility be available again?

Many users find the PM facility to be an important part of the Agoracom platform, particularly for messages they would not wish to publish publically or of interest only to the recipient. No one wishes to clutter the main board with such matters, yet have to in order to bring attention of a recipient to something they have published in the Off Topic area. The Off Topic area being the only, but poor, substitute to PMs.

Agoracom by switching off the PM facility is now a much diminished service and possibly a reason why key members of the POET board no.longer post here as they seek better ways of communicating on a one to one basis.

Please explain why this useful facility has not reappeared which was expected as it was signalled by Agoracom previously in reply to enquiries for its return.
