Well, put it this way, when this board is sure it's good news, the share price does not reflect it.

I continue to maintain what they are trying to do is very, very difficult, otherwise, it would seem someone else would have already done it. That's why the large reward - due to the large risk. I guess we'll find out eventually just how much of a risk the successful development of the integrated circuit (as envisioned by GT and current POET scientists) really is (was).

Glad to hear the transistor component is solid, too, like tumblers to a combination lock, things are clicking into place, but the last tumbler's a tough one. Perhaps management was waiting to be able to announce that simultaneously with the "Columbo" announcement, "just one more thing." Not a bad idea on their part and I don't know that they really had to disclose the fact that things were taking more time than anticipated (at least by Agoracom folk), but there is so much anticipation here, I think it was cool of them to do it.

Assuming they get the VCSEL puzzle piece put together, can the resident techies chime in relative to how much longer after that will it be to get the three pieces intergrated?

Good to have the update, although not quite the update we were hoping for. Bottom line, the share price does sometimes tell one something, and it has been screaming "not yet," since last September, with a significant head fake heading into the THM. So, I say, let's have another THM ;)

Good luck to everyone, and best of luck to our crew at POET - lots of great minds working very hard on these issues, no doubt.
