In deed, Reiner, it is all about data, as the information content is incredibly smaller. And I have no idea how this data GAU will ever end. We know that even exponential grow will end one day. But how? First text, then sound, pictures, video, best in UHD-3D...

Imagine one moment in time, in a huge sports stadium, the moment the winner team receives their troophy. Ten thousands of camera and smartphones flash up (yes, completely nonsense to flash at such distances...), each picture 5-10 MB and thousands of HD videos of the same moment - are saved first on SD cards, then streamed to the cloud. Makes easily one terabyte of data. Information? Nearly nill, you even can hardly recognize faces...

In addition: It seems noone is deleting files in these days. The owner dies, but his files will remain in the cloud.
It would be high time to include a validity date in all file formats, so the file would automatically delete itself after a certain period.

By the way, can a hub leader please delete this message after one day :-)
