If Poet is going to do what they say they are going to do, isn't it weird that they aren't involved/invited to be a big presence at a conference like this? With all these University professors speaking on topics that Poet is supposed to be getting ready to unleash, why isn't Dr. Taylor front and center? Or other Poet leaders? It has to be one of these reasons: 1. Poet is a small Canadian company that just isn't on the radar (but if that's true then how have they attracted prominent movers from the industry to serve on various boards and such?) 2. Industry is aware of Poet but also aware of many small companies aiming to solve these kind of issues and isn't ready to bet on a horse just yet. 3. Industry is aware of Poet but doesn't believe it's going to be successful Doesn't it have to be one of these three options? Are there others I'm missing?
