Message: The conference call (CC) - very brief notes

Hosted by IBK. No Q&A because of prospectus. Michael White is opening the call. Aggressive roadmap. Trustworthy partners. Typical talk of big numbers. This call is first roadshow event. EUR, then US (couple weeks). Talk about securities handling companies.

Suresh- talk about retail investors wanting updates. No meaningful change in timing. No serious hiccups. Hurdles can come up in transfer of processes, lead time, etc. (sounds like the email update someone posted yesterday). Continue to excited about the disruptive tech (going through the slides). Recommends referring to the Shelf Prospectus before making an investment. Proceeds of the offering will go to general business operations including future acquisitions. Looking to get more control of their own destiny. Shares will be registered in Canada and US. Looking to continue to operate from a position of strength. POET tech fundamentally reduces the cost of the process. Talk about the single chip. Lots of verticals. Focussed on commericalization. Lab to fab. Now heavily focussed on commercialzation. Talking about the process - customers, sales channels, etc. Talk about the great patent portfoliio (claims most actively traded stock on this platform ...?). Management team (looks like the pictures are still stretched). Suresh is here to commercialize the monolithic process. Only company to have monolithic chip. Issues of tech and other outside their control. Update to come in late November. Acquisition of DenseLight - shortens the back end (bringing the company revenue - customer, sales channels, etc), also includes the processing facility for small amount of capital. Reduced power solutions w POET. Targeting large and growing photonics industry. Focus on photonic sensing and data communications (examples of both). History of integration (I phased out here, sorry). POET will change optical communications. Protected by patents - structural which are the most valuable. Create value w integration (analogy of the present disruptive tech of cell phones, integrated). Talk of conventional solutions - expensive, multiple stages, costly; POET aims to use single chip to complete all processes (receive light, transmit light, etc.) therefore reducing cost, power, size, etc. "Dramatically improves a wide range of capabilities." Short reach comm's. Looking to get into the integration concepts in the existing and growing markets of the long and medium reach comm's - previous acquisitions. Talk of numbers in the future. Customers - they can use their existing products but may use more in the future. Accelerating customer base for existing and future products. POET - "integration on steroids." At the inflection point of the market. POET by definition brings cost reduction, lower power consumption. Photonic sensing in the nearer term. Longer reach tranceivers after 2017. Plan to expand roadmap in the next year. Plans to disrupt market with integrated (InP) solutions. POET can bring reduced costs vs copper. The holy grail of communications. Creating value through integration. Monetization - multiple sources of revenue, presently and in the coming years. Working with customers to bring NRE - custom development, tech transfer, etc. Revenue - second source licensing, kick-back royalties, foundry licensing. Talk of future numbers. Immediate entry into the markets brings additional growth. Future number talk. Revenue is expected to exceed $2M in 2016, revenue to grow year-year, DenseLight positive in first half of 2017. Fully equipped manufacturing facility. Positioned for strong market growth, and profitability.

End.
