BCD: The Problem with that statement is that "we don't know, what we don't know"

Yup, that's the insecurity that is resulting from poor communication! It makes people continue your sentence with "… but it must be bad!"

I don't think that what we don't know must be bad just because we don't know about it. It could also be good or even very good. Unfortunately POET's communication sucks. Yes, these guys are poor communicators. However, communication is not their profession. They are not with POET to improve the company's communication. Their profession and their task at POET is to further the technology and to further the business. If they execute in these regards it should be sufficient for us. Sure, I'd like them to be great communicators, too, but at the end of the day it's only the business that counts, the numbers in the balance sheet, which should be in black and with many digits left from the decimal point.

In short, my stance is to condone their suboptimal communication and put trust in the technology and in the technological and business expertise of the POET management and the POET board to bring that technology to market.

Folks, I am always trying to take only facts into account and keep emotions aside. For me, that's not too hard, because I am an Aspie, and emotions and I are not best friends anyway. Please excuse if I don't understand or even feel all the despair, negativity, and anxiety.
