Since Poet announced the proposed financing, it seems to me we have been in a price discovery stage. Barring a last minute miracle announcement, the stock has hovered in the .50c level, with millions traded, and that seems to be it. Why would a fund pay any more - they don't pay retail, and if they did, they could buy on the open market - they want a discount. Sometimes a steep discount to the retail price. Sure, throw in a good deal, like some warrants, and depending on terms, they will pay more. But it won't do the share price any good, could even sink it further.
