That's no contradiction, Doodlebug. The market markers have to keep the market liquid also when people or institutions are selling, but that only means they have to make appropriate quotes. It does not mean they can move the share price where they want, against huge selling (or buying) in the opposite direction.

And in case I haven't said it already, I am assuming nothing fundamental has changed in POET for the worse, except for the equity raise as such. However, the share price reaction is completely disproportionate.
