Management was likely out maneurvered, which can happen, but management should have been counseled more wisely by the likes of IBK, no? Many here saw the share price death spiral coming, but, even then, I don't think any of us foresaw the extent.
I still trust management. To those who think we'd be better or with PC - sorry, no way in the world would that be the case.
For over a year, the share price has been telling me, we're not as close as we think. With this little bomb, perhaps people's expectations will be transformed and maybe we're going to be closer than our new view.
To those who want to see a class action - don't even dream of that. You want to destroy the share price further and maybe the company? You might make some lawyers rich, but you won't get any kind of meaningful recovery, even if you win or settle.
I chalk up most of the reaction to emotional venting. Completely understandable, but eventually, we all need to get a better grip (and not around management's throat).
