OK, NDA and insider trades - fiction on:

SV is buying 2 Mio shares for ridiculous 600k CAD.

One week later we learn that Poet sent prototypes of their new detector (mass produced with "ludicrous" specs) under NDA to e.g. BAE - 3 month ago. Now tests are finished, contracts signed, a really nice NRE of 20 Mio USD is payed. The SP reacts accordingly...

It should be logical that IP based non revenue companies with just a handful staff and many NDA in place will pay attention to insider trades.
