but here I have to disappoint you. As far as I know, the POET detector is detecting light of one single, very narrow wavelength, like the VCSEL is lasing at a single wavelength. For such a glucose monitor you need a SLED from Denselight, but a detector arrey to register a broad NIR-spectro of glucose. This means: Yes, there could be a glucose monitor, but it will base only on Denselights SLED, not on POETs detector.
But - there are plenty of highly interesting applications of "our" detector, let us not worry!
