Ha, good question! I think it is the new communication strategy which is more tight lips. I regret this, because I am so snoopy about any technical details and like to know and understand as much as possible of the technology and any advances or drawbacks.

On the other hand their reasoning to not inadvertently benefit potential competitors is sound and comprehensibly. I may not like it, but I have to agree it is reasonable. (Not that I had a choice anyway.)
