According to USA Today most self driving cars will be electric or hybrid and according to Luxmux's website electric cars are one of many markets for our / their SLEDs. So regardless of whether Apple may or may not be using POET technology in their design, the Denselight SLED's will, in all likelyhood, be used by them and /or others as it is claimed they are best in class. (Assuming the Denselight and Luxmux sales teams are hard at work.)
