I know even less about these patents.   These patent processes seem to go back many many years, and are just now being applied for?   I also don't get why Univ. Connecticut is mentioned, or why Poet technology is not a joint applicant as I assume it was Poet who is initiating the application for patent rights?   Does it matter at all?
