Don't know anything about M Partners, other than they've recently bought stock in POET, and in another small Canadian company that I've been in for 12 or more years.  Won't mention the name, it's a biotech and it's stock performance has been dismal, especially over the last 2 or 3 years.  As they were buying, that other stock jumped from about .25 to .30; it's since come back down some.

Just weird; but I hope these guys are mucho savvy!
