You honestly think that what we're currently waiting for (prototypes) are currently already flying in space for NASA 5+ years ago? Are you serious? Why would we be killing ourselves to develop prototypes if these things were already developed and flying in space (highest bloody requirements you can imagine) ???

 

Get a clue Dash. Everything we will do we'll just be doing it better than anyone else. Nothing we are doing would be protected by the military for years before being allowed out into the commercial market. Military, NASA, etc... can help fuel innovation and change. Technology advances so quickly, you can rest assured that if it was developed over 5 years ago, it would have already been out and commercialized.

 

We might have had a small component with NASA as it was suggested, that doesn't mean that we can commercialize that and build a business around it (obviously).
