There is no way we can make an "absolute" connection to Apple. Until proven otherwise, that is wishful or hopeful thinking on your part. Apple will deal with multiple vendors on all kinds of projects and choose the best overall solution before rolling it out. Simply, because they are in the driver's seat as the world's largest technology company. I would like that dot to become an apple with a bit taken out of it and where the bite has occurred have POET inside in a logo, but that is dreaming about what is only a possibilty at the moment. 

AOC, VCSEL, and sensors are what POET is focussed on regardless of any fruit dot as being what is "the now" for POET one would think.
